Wangdoushan Musk Moon Ink is made in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, with a diameter of 4.3 centimeters and a thickness of 0.5 centimeters
The ink circle shows a picture of a jade rabbit pounding medicine under the osmanthus tree in the Moon Palace on one side, and the three characters “Musk Fragrant Moon” filled in gold and official script on the other side. Next to it is a regular script in Yangwen, “Made by Han Xizai of the Southern Tang Dynasty, Wang Doushan of Xiuning imitates pure lacquer tribute smoke.”. Due to the addition of medicinal musk in this product, it also belongs to the mix of high-grade gift ink and pharmaceutical ink in the traditional ink making products of the Xiuning Sect
