The box wooden body is square, with a slight bulge in the middle of the cover, and the lower part of the body is folded, connecting the square and circular feet. The watch was repeatedly painted in layers of black and yellow paint. The cover is carved with 8 symmetrical Ruyi cloud patterns, and the center is carved with a persimmon stem pattern. The walls are also carved with cloud patterns. The foot is painted with black light, and the center knife is engraved with a gold regular script “Made in the Qianlong Year of the Qing Dynasty” in a straight line six character style. Under the style, the “Ruyi Cloud Box” in a double line four character style is also engraved
This box has a square and regular shape, excellent paint, fine carving, and symmetrical and exquisite decoration. It is a masterpiece of official lacquerware made during the Qianlong Dynasty
