Respect for lip curling, short neck, shoulder curling, tummy curling, and heel curling. The whole body is painted with pink blue glaze, and the abdomen is molded with animal face patterns and cloud patterns. In the middle of the abdomen, the carving technique is used to divide the abdomen into upper and lower parts, and the shape is interlocked with the front and cover of the Ruyi head, with a built-in copper bladder for flower arrangement. On the outsole, there are six characters and three lines in a blue and white seal script “made in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty”
The name “Jiaotai” comes from the “Book of Changes, Tai”, which refers to “Heaven and Earth, Tai”. In the old days, it meant good fortune. This statue continues to use the name “Jiaotai” in its upper and lower parts, which contain auspicious meanings.
