On the ground in beige, tapestry reeds and egrets, and on the upper right, tapestry a poem made by Emperor Gaozong’s official script with black thread:
Picking the land of Yating, how free is it for flowers
The group shakes and makes the night rain, just like last autumn
Tibetan herons love the green leaves, and their white heads tremble in the waves
Whispering at the startled shadows, it is better to drown in glory when falling
The end of the poem is woven into a circle, and the square ink is printed with the words “dry” and “long”, respectively. The characteristic of this graph axis is to weave the object image shape first, and then use the brush to render it. For example, egrets first weave their form with white silk threads, and then use ink to draw feathers. The grass on the ground is all painted with a brush. This combination of weaving and painting can be used to draw small but not easily woven parts, making up for the shortcomings of weaving
This work is well woven and painted, with superb tapestry, mainly composed of flat tapestry, structural tapestry, circular tapestry, and Zimu Sutra.
