Description:
With a slender neck, the two dragons open their mouths to suck into the bottle, forming two curved and beautiful ears. The light blue glaze is peeled, covering only the upper part of the appliance, and the lower part is exposed. The glaze surface has fine grain pieces, and the exposed part has large light crimson spots. Double Dragon Ear Bottle, or Double Dragon Handle Pot, is one of the common shapes in the Tang Dynasty. Its use is still unknown. At present, most of the works found are from tombs, so they can be regarded as sacrificial vessels or Ming vessels. This Double Dragon Ear Vase, originally stored in the Qing Palace, was found at least in the Yongzheng Dynasty or earlier, according to the similar shape of the imperial kilns of the Yongzheng and Qianlong dynasties.
