Blue Jade Imperial Textured Silkworm Wall, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, has a diameter of 26.3 centimeters, a good diameter (middle aperture) of 5.4 centimeters, and a thickness of 0.8 centimeters
It is made of blue jade, bounded by rope patterns. The pattern is divided into two areas: the inner area is decorated with silkworm patterns, and the outer area is decorated with Kui dragon patterns and animal face patterns. On the side of the wall, engraved in regular script is a poem made by the Emperor Qianlong, which reads, “The circumference of the Zhou Dynasty was even more than a foot, and today it is also a bandit. There is a slight lack of sheepskin, and jade leaves and fruits produce a forest. The viscount is sincere and sincere, and the language of the king and grandson is diffuse. When carving the seal, one can recognize the heart by learning from the ancient times.” At the end, the paragraph “Qianlong Renzi, Imperial Title” was signed, and two single frame seal seals, “Bi De” and “Lang Run”, were carved. Renzi was born in the 57th year of Qianlong’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1792)
