The pot is straight and slightly rectangular. There is a circle in the square and a rectangle in the circle. Curved flow, square handle, pot door foot. Exit edge cover, square pavilion button. The pot is a purple sand inner tube, painted with black paint and painted in gold color. The gold paint on the pot body is well preserved, but most of the lid falls off. The contents painted on the four sides of the pot body are landscapes and pavilions, and plum flowers are painted on the handle and flow of the pot
The purple clay pot decorated with lacquer began in the Ming Dynasty. During the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty, the technique of painting with heavy colors and painting gold was absorbed, and the pot body was decorated brilliantly
This pot is magnificent in shape, full in composition, beautifully painted with gold and lacquer painting, magnificent, and has a typical royal style. It is the only one of the Yongzheng Dynasty purple sand painted with gold in the Palace Museum.
