[Yixing kiln purple sand persimmon flower flat pot]

Yixing kiln purple sand persimmon flower flat pot, Qing Yongzheng, height 8.1 cm, caliber 8.3 cm, foot diameter 6.4 cm
The pot has a wide mouth, round shoulder, flat belly, short DC, and thick ring handle. The cover is embossed with persimmon stem patterns. Shallow ochre tone sand mud is covered with white sand spots. The sand mud particles are coarse, but not astringent
The embossed persimmon stem pattern is typical of the late Ming Dynasty. The purple clay pots unearthed from the Ming Tomb and the remains unearthed from the Yixing kiln site mostly contain the pot flow or lid decorated with the persimmon stem pattern. The embossed persimmon stem pattern of this pot is rolled around and has a certain thickness, which adds the charm of round sculpture to the smooth and elegant pot body.
