Yongzheng silver beam pot, Qing Yongzheng, with a total height of 10.2 cm and a diameter of 3.2 cm
The pot is oblate, bulging, flat bottom, round lid, small short flow. There is a small dragon shaped lifting beam on the mouth, and there is a button between the cover and the mouth. Press the button to open the cover. The whole body of the pot is light, clean and bright. In the center of the pot bottom, there are six characters of the seal script “made in the year of Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty”, and the left side of the seal script is carved with four characters of the inscription “made of mineral silver”
The Palace Museum has only two such silver pots in its collection, which are small and exquisite in shape, vivid in image and exquisite in workmanship. Especially, the design of the lid switch is unique and ingenious, and it is difficult for the unknown to open the lid. Although the entire surface of the pot is not decorated with patterns, it is unique and is a successful work of the Yongzheng Dynasty silver ware
