Carmine ground enamel flower-and-bird pattern bowl is clear and upright, with a height of 4.5 cm, a diameter of 9.2 cm and a foot diameter of 3.6 cm
The bowl is skimmed, the belly is deep, and the feet are circled. The inside of the bowl is painted with white glaze, the inner wall is printed with the picture of egret lotus, and the center of the bowl is printed with the four-character seal script of “Yongle Year System”. The outer wall is made of carmine, and is decorated with three round fan-shaped lights. The lights are painted with “Shoushan and Fuhai”, “Longevity and Longevity” and “Bamboo Plum and Two Sparrows” respectively. Green, purple, yellow and other colors are used to depict the ball pattern between the lights. The outsole is painted with a huge peach, and the inside of the peach is painted with carmine color regular script “made in Yongzheng year” in two lines and four characters
This kind of decoration method integrating printing and painting is extremely rare in Yongzheng enamel porcelain. In addition, this method of placing the model year in a peach fruit is also very unique
The vast majority of the white porcelain bodies used in the Kangxi and Yongzheng enamel colored porcelain were provided by the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Factory, and some used the dark white porcelain bodies of the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln in the Yongle and Xuande periods of the Ming Dynasty left by the court. This enamel colored flower-and-bird bowl is one of them.
