Colorful Ruyi Ear Garlic Bottle, Qingyongzheng, height 26 cm, caliber 5.2 cm, foot diameter 11.8 cm
The mouth of the bottle is in the shape of garlic. It has a neck, shoulders, round belly, and feet. There are symmetrical ears between the mouth and shoulders. The outside of the bottle is decorated with full color. The edge of the mouth is decorated with a circular pattern, and the garlic mouth is decorated with a broken flower pattern. There are three layers of decorative patterns on the neck, which are rolled grass, flower and banana leaf patterns in turn. Ruyi cloud pattern and deformed lotus petal pattern are painted on the shoulder and tibia respectively. The abdomen is painted with six groups of flower patterns, with lotus patterns between them. The blue and white double-circle on the outsole is stamped with the blue and white “made in Yongzheng year of the Qing Dynasty” double-line six-character regular script
This bottle is outlined with underglaze blue and white double hooks, and the glaze is filled with pink materials of various colors such as carmine, antimony yellow, aqua green, blue and purple. The use of pastel instead of traditional multicoloured is a pioneering work in the Yongzheng period.
