In the Thangka, Xi Vajra has a blue body, eight sides, sixteen arms and four feet, and the sixteen hands hold the Gabala bowl, and the right eight-handed bowl holds eight animals, namely, white elephant, green deer, green donkey, red bull, grey snake, red man, green lion, and red cat; There are eight earthly gods in the left-handed bowl. They are the god of yellow earth, the god of white water, the god of red fire, the god of green wind, the god of sun, the god of moon, the god of hell and death, and the god of yellow wealth. The Master embraces the Princess Vajra Yoga Mother, which symbolizes the perfect state of both compassion and wisdom. The two figures stand on one foot, leaning against the red flame, trampling on the sky, the accumulation, the death and the worry, which symbolize subduing the demons and removing the worry. In the painting, the center of the celestial sphere is painted with the Great Vajra, and on both sides are the Indian and Tibetan ancestors who inherit the teaching of the Great Vajra, and the lower boundary is painted with the parents of the treasure tent and other accompanying gods
On the back of the Thangka, there is a white silk label and an inscription in four-body Chinese characters of Han, Manchu, Mongol and Tibetan in ink. The Chinese text is: “On the first day of June in the forty-third year of Qianlong’s reign, the emperor ordered Zhang Jiahu and Tuke to recognize the image of Yin and Xi Vajra, the image of offering benefits.
