[Bronze gilded rooster animal pavilion clock]
Bronze gilded rooster animal pavilion clock, England, 18th century. It is 244 cm high, 102 cm wide and 90 cm thick
The clock consists of a base and a body. The base is of the pavilion type. The four pillars of the pavilion are palm trees with lush green leaves, and there are copper-plated roosters inside. The bell body is in the form of a pavilion. The pavilion is built on the rocks, and glass mirrors are paved on the rocks to show the water surface. The water method columns distributed among the rocks represent waterfalls. There is a small two-needle watch embedded in the center of the front of the pavilion. There is a magnifying glass in the door behind the pavilion, which can see through the interior garden scenery and the waterfalls in the mountain stream. The roof is a small tower that can be lifted and lowered
This clock controls the machinery of music, water method and tower lifting at the bottom of the pavilion. With joy, the water method between the rocks turns like a waterfall, and the tower on the top of the building rises and falls repeatedly. This is one of the large watches made by James Cox.
