His hands are folded in front of his chest, and his other hands are holding beads and flowers respectively. He sits on the lotus throne with folded hands. The picture is relatively simple, and the Sanskrit above is the praise of Avalokitesvara, which means “baby lotus”; Below is a message in Tibetan, which means “auspicious day, auspicious night, constant auspicious day and night, rely on the three treasures to get auspicious”. On the top of the painting center, there are many red prints, such as “Qianlong Appreciation”, “Xuantong Imperial Treasure”, “Supreme Emperor’s Treasure”, “Secret Palace Pearl Forest” and so on
This Thangka uses the techniques of flat tapestry, structural tapestry, and gold tapestry, with the lotus petals, lotus leaves, and other subtle points painted. The painting heart is decorated with blue woven lotus and cotton edge.
