[Black-gold glazed golden hill water grain pen holder]
Black-gold glazed golden hill water grain pen holder, Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, 15.8 cm in height, 18.5 cm in diameter and 18 cm in foot diameter
The pen holder has the same mouth and bottom, straight wall and flat bottom. The interior is painted with white glaze, the exterior is painted with black gold glaze, and the glaze finish is black and bright. The glaze is painted with gold color. Although the gold color has all fallen off, the pattern trace can still be seen when looking at the side facing the light: there is a square opening light on one side, and the opening light is internally painted with landscape figure patterns. On the other side of the book, the full text of Su Shi’s “Ode to the Red Cliff”, the book at the end of the text, “Ode to the Red Cliff recorded on the right of the mid-winter moon at the age of ugliness”, and two pieces of round and square idle chapters. The outer bottom is painted with white glaze, and there is a jade circle in the middle. No style
The use of the whole famous fu to decorate the brush holder reached its peak in the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty. The contents can be seen in “Four Scenes of Reading and Music”, “Fu on the Front Red Cliff”, “Fu on the Back Red Cliff”, “Shibiao”, “Preface to the Tengwang Pavilion”, etc. Most of them write the whole text on the pen holder without decoration. This pen holder not only writes the full text of “Post Red Cliff Fu” in gold color, but also is equipped with the corresponding landscape, trees and stones. It is picturesque and rare. The “self ugly” Ganzhi chronology of the signature is the forty-eighth year of Kangxi (1709). At this time, it coincides with Yu Heng, the doctor of the Ministry of Industry, Zhong Zang, who was selected to supervise the production of Jingdezhen imperial kiln, which provides an important basis for judging the specific age of the production of black-glazed porcelain during the Kangxi period.
