White-glazed blue-and-white four-character cup, in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, is 4.7 cm in height, 6.2 cm in diameter and 2.7 cm in foot diameter
Straighten the cup, close the belly and circle the feet. There are four characters in the blue and white seal script on the inner wall: “yellow, middle, in and flow”. Inside the blue and white double circle of the outsole is a six-character regular script made in the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. This device is small in shape, simple in decoration, extremely thin in carcass, and nearly unborn, and is a fine product of the Kangxi official kiln
There are four identical cups in our hospital. In addition to the Ming Yongle blue and white ware, only the four remaining pieces have this decorative style, which represents the superb level of porcelain making technology in the Kangxi Dynasty
