Although this wash tried to imitate the Ding white porcelain of the Song Dynasty, its firing temperature was higher than that of the Ding porcelain of the Song Dynasty, resulting in a brighter glaze, which was one of the prominent features of the imitation of the Ding white porcelain in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty
