The porcelain sculpture Zhong Kui sits on the mountain stone, wearing a black soft crown, a boa robe with a gold sea, water clouds and dragon patterns painted in ink, yellow ribbons at the waist, and black boots with white soles. The left arm leans on a wine jar imitating the Song official kiln, the right hand holds the cup, the eyes are slightly closed, the intoxication is hazy, and is happy, there is a red bat bottle behind. The back side of the stone is engraved with four characters of “Kangxi year system”. The characters are vivid and vivid, the glaze color is appropriate in color, beautiful and natural
Since ancient times, Zhong Kui has shown people with a ferocious face, often holding a sword to catch monsters and ghosts. Later, Zhong Kui gradually evolved into an auspicious god who welcomed wealth and received blessings. It left the court in the late Qing Dynasty, was found in an antique shop in Longfu Temple, and was welcomed back to the Forbidden City
