[Blue and white figure rectangular porcelain plate]
Blue and white figure rectangular porcelain plate, Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, 27.2 cm long, 17 cm wide and 4.2 cm high
There are rectangular sockets on all sides of the porcelain plate. On one side of the porcelain plate, blue and white double lines are used as the surrounding frame. In the frame, blue and white are used to decorate the fisherman’s happy picture. A red sun is hanging in the sky. The pagoda and the green hills are clearly visible. Between the distant mountains and the water, some fishermen cast nets and some use fish baskets, a busy scene. On the other side of the porcelain plate, with four brocade patterns as the border, the war scene is painted inside: on the mountain path, two generals ride on the horses, one with a gun, and the other with two swords
Blue and white porcelain has been the main variety of colored porcelain since the Yuan Dynasty, and has developed rapidly, reaching its peak in the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty. Kangxi blue and white porcelain was fired with Yunnan Zhuming material to produce a turquoise blue tone. Its painting was directly painted on the porcelain body using the split water chapping technique. The painting has a sense of depth and depth, just like ink painting
