This scroll shows Li Pu and his child servants traveling in the mountains and rivers. At the beginning of the picture is a pool of lake water, with dense pine forests on the slope bank and flowing streams in the mountains. Li Pu was dressed in a robe, a scarf on his head, and Zhu shoes on his feet. He was dressed as a scholar. Next to him, a child accompanied him with a book case and a backpack, while another child accompanied him with a piano bag. Li’s face is kind and his painting method is fine, while the painting method of children is relatively simple and does not have the characteristics of portrait painting, which plays the role of highlighting the main characters, which is a common expression method in ancient Chinese portrait painting. Bogart’s works handed down from generation to generation are rare. Through this picture, we can see the artistic style of his portrait.
