[Gold Jiaolongniu “Treasure of the Son of Heaven”]
“Treasure of the Son of Heaven”, early Qing Dynasty, gold, Jiaolongniu square seal, Manchu seal. The face is 11.9 cm square, the height of the hole is 8.3 cm, and the height of the button is 5.1 cm. It is attached with a yellow ribbon and a dental plaque. The two sides of the dental plaque are full of Chinese characters “The Treasure Chamber of the Son of Heaven”
It is one of the “Ten Treasures of Shengjing”, used to worship ancestors and hundreds of gods. According to the Manchu Archives of the National Academy of History in the Early Qing Dynasty, on December 28 of the eighth year of Chongde (1643), the minister Abe was sent to sacrifice to the ancestors of the Qing Emperor. The seal on the memorial was “the treasure of the Son of Heaven”, which was probably the seal, and was made during the reign of Emperor Taizong of the Qing Dynasty. The seal style of Jiaolong Niu and Manchu seal characters of this treasure is also consistent with the gold “treasure of worshipping heaven” of this period. It is a very important cultural relic in the early Qing Dynasty
