[White jade Panlongniu “the treasure of the Qing Dynasty”]
“the treasure of the Qing Dynasty”, Chongde of the Qing Dynasty, white jade, the square seal of the Panlongniu, the Chinese seal book full of text characters. The surface is 14cm square, the overall height is 12cm, and the button height is 8.2 cm
It is one of the 25 treasures designated by Emperor Qianlong, ranking first among the 25 treasures. According to the “Treasure Manual of the Jiaotai Palace”, it is recorded as “the order of the emperor”, which shows the legitimacy of the Ming and Qing dynasties to rule China by the order of heaven. According to Emperor Qianlong’s Preface to the Treasure Manual of the Jiaotai Hall, this treasure was originally a relic of Emperor Taizong’s Tai Chi, which was “inherited from the previous generation and passed down to the world”. Therefore, when the imperial edict of the 13th year of Qianlong (1748) changed the Manchu text in the seal seal to the Manchu seal script, the treasure was able to maintain its original appearance. Its material is white and moist, the lines of the dragon buttons are simple and smooth, and the skill is skilled, which shows the level of jade carving in the early Qing Dynasty
