The famous palaces and palaces in ancient history and the Langyuan Qionglou in the folk legends are the themes repeatedly described by Yuan Jiang. This picture is based on the Arfang Palace built in the 35th year of Qin Shihuang (212 BC). With his profound knowledge of ancient architecture and rich imagination, the painter made a group of mysterious buildings that had passed away reappear. This picture uses 12 through-view screens, fully utilizing the width and breadth of the picture, to reproduce the magnificent momentum of Afang Palace in that year, and to develop the magnificent and beautiful painting style to the extreme.
