The inscription at the bottom right of the picture: “The picture of Yuehua is sent to Mr. Shu Tong for a clear reward. Seventy-five old people are Jinnong.” The seal is “Jinji Jinyin” and “Born in Dingmao”. It also collects and prints three parties. Three parties, including Jianzang Seal and Tan Guancheng Seal
This picture is a gift from Jinnong’s painting in his later years. There is only one full moon in the whole painting, with undulating shadows inside and red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple rays radiating from the outer edge. The painting is simple and pure, but it shows the painter’s strong feelings. In traditional works, the moon is often endowed with mythical colors, including images of Chang’e, Jade Rabbit, Osmanthus, etc. In literati paintings, it appears more as a supplement. The concept of “The Painting of the Moon” is unique. It directly expresses the brightness of the moon in a realistic way, winning by surprise. There is almost no traditional method of painting in this picture. The shadow performance gives full play to the effect of water and ink on rice paper, and contrasts with the light light light of warm colors, setting off the bright and bright moonlight. In the process of creation, the painter’s mind and spirit are in harmony with each other, and his handwriting and hand are in harmony with each other. The natural interest is self formed, which shows the painter’s extraordinary imagination and creativity. Zhang Geng once commented on Jin Nong’s painting in the “Record of the Painting of the National Dynasty”: “It is not seen in the world, but it is meant to be covered.” This picture is unprecedented, and there is no future.
