Green crouching cattle

[Cui Wo Niu]

Cui Wo Niu, clear, 6.6 cm high, 15.1 cm long and 7.7 cm wide
Crouching cattle are emerald, slightly transparent, with dark yellow jade skin left on the head, horns and one side of the body, which is yellow and green, and extremely beautiful in color. The cow is in a crouching shape, with its limbs bent under its belly, and its tail attached to one foot. The bottom is decorated with rosewood seats with sea water patterns. Although this work is plain and not decorated with patterns, the cow’s body texture is obvious and the expression is vivid
Cui is a mineral, most of which are opaque, some are translucent, and have glass luster. Green and bright ones have the highest value. Because of its hard texture, it does not carve patterns. Cui became popular in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.
