Duanshi Three Dragons Playing Pearl Inkstone, in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, is 28.9 cm long, 19.5 cm wide, and 2.75 cm high
The Duan inkstone is packed in a rosewood box, and the cover is inlaid with mother-of-pearl cloud and dragon patterns. The surface of the inkstone is shallowly open and inclined cloud shaped inkstone pool. The semicircle in the pool is carved with swimming dragons. The ground is fine and dense sea water patterns. The inkstone pond is carved with sea water, cloud and dragon patterns around it, and a stone eyepost is carved at the pond. It looks like the day of rising, and also like a dragon ball. It is ingeniously conceived
The inkstone is purple, warm and moist, and the carving is exquisite and complex.
