[Fan page of Chiang Ting’s Ceylon Stone Map]
The Blue Stone Map fan page, Qing Dynasty, Jiang Tingxi’s painting, paper, ink, 16.5 cm in length and 49.1 cm in width
The fan page has its own title: “Wash and test the new ink, and the fragrant wind blows the cocoon paper. There is no doubt that the leaves of the orchids are thin, and the leaves hurt the orchids. It is the second brother of the couple. Ting Xi.” The next seal is “Jiang Ting Xi’s seal”, the white seal, and “Yang Sun’s”, the Zhu seal. Seal the head with “body matter” Zhu Wenyin
In this picture, the slope stone is painted with moist ink, and the stone surface is slightly chapped, supplemented by scattered ink dots, which appears stable and clumsy. Behind the stone is a clump of orchids drawn by the double-hook method. The orchid leaves extend gently outwards, showing a graceful state moving with the wind. The static and dynamic of stone and orchid echo each other in a simple picture to achieve harmony
There is a seven-character poem on the fan: “The roots of Gukou pine are all fragrant, so why bother to send fragrance when the wind is good. It is like a romantic bride to teach people to draw for others to see.”
