Copper gilded jade inlay with three inlays Ruyi, clear, 61 cm long, 15 cm wide, and 15 cm high
Ruyi is carved with bronze coins, the handle is carved with dark eight immortals, and the head, body and tail are inlaid with a piece of jade, carved with bamboo and pine patterns. The jade-inlaid base is surrounded by patterns such as “longevity” and butterfly. The yellow silk spike is knotted like the character “longevity”, and the upper and lower parts are tied with two strings with the character “ten thousand”. This Ruyi is exquisitely made. Three inlays of Ruyi is a new shape created during the Qianlong period. It was first seen in Ruyi made of bamboo and wood, and then became very popular.
