Duanshi Guatian Inkstone is 18.3 cm long and 13.5 cm wide in the early Qing Dynasty
The inkstone is made of purple end stone. Make natural stones skillfully in the shape of tangled melon. The ink on the surface of the inkstone is very delicate. It is carved into a melon, and the ink pool is deep above the melon stem. The natural stone pattern makes leaf vines lingering around the back of the inkstone
On the right side of the inkstone is engraved the official script inscription “half an acre of melon field”, on the back of the inkstone is engraved the seal script inscription “half an acre of melon field”, and on the back of the inkstone is the signature inscription “Luyuan”. Also, under the “Stone Room”, a rectangular seal of “recite the fragrance of ancestors” was signed
