Commentary:
The name of heaven and earth has become prosperous. I would rather have a bosom friend than a friend
The first seal is “Yuan Jianzhai”, with the two seals of “Emperor Kangxi Chenhan” and “Emperor Jiqingyan”. The other two seals are “three collections of treasure” and “hidden in Shiqu treasure collection”
The strokes of this painting are tactful and empty, and the style is relaxed and elegant. I think Emperor Kangxi was in a relaxed mood when he was wielding calligraphy, so his pen was very smooth
Emperor Kangxi, the emperor of the Qing Dynasty, Aixinjueluo Xuanye, is the third son of Emperor Shunzhi. Having been systematically educated in Chinese culture since childhood, he has a strong sense of identity with Chinese traditional culture. He not only vigorously advocated the Chinese culture, but also read poetry and books. He was eager to learn, and calligraphy was one of his important lessons. In my spare time, I watched the ancient Chinese ink with my subordinates, and exchanged calligraphy skills to cultivate my feelings with calligraphy. Among the calligraphers of the past dynasties, Xuan Ye most admired Dong Qichang. He deliberately imitated Dong’s calligraphy and became an outstanding calligrapher of the Dong School. He directly influenced and led the trend of the calligraphy style at that time, making the calligraphy world of the early Qing Dynasty permeated with the charm of the Dong School.
