This is one of the 12 pictures of Prince Yong’s Inscription Hall, formerly known as “The Painting of Princess Yinzhen’s Music”. This set of picture screens was customized by Yin Zhen for his imperial garden Yuanmingyuan. It was originally pasted on the screen in the “Deep Willow Reading Hall” of Yuanmingyuan. It was only in August of the tenth year of Yongzheng’s reign (1732) that an order was issued to remove them from the screen and hide them in the Forbidden City
