Eight petal rhombus shaped mirror with hemispherical button. The inner area is decorated with a relief dragon pattern. The dragon has a towering bifurcated double horn and is covered with scales. The body of the dragon turns and twists, and the limbs stretch strongly. The dragon is powerful in the clouds and mist. It holds the spherical mirror button with its mouth open, which is very dramatic. Surrounded by flowing clouds, there are flying dragons in the sky. The outer area is slightly higher. Inside the rhombic flap on the edge of the mirror are the broken branch flowers and butterfly patterns commonly seen in Tang mirrors. This kind of cloud dragon pattern mirror was once unearthed in Tang tombs in Shaanxi, Zhejiang, Guangdong and other places. It appeared in the late Tang Dynasty, the Kaiyuan era of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, and flourished in the middle Tang Dynasty.
