According to the congratulatory title of the painter on the painting, we can know that the banquet was given at the Yulan Hall of Wanshou Mountain in 1823, and the painter of the inner court was ordered to draw portraits of 15 old ministers attending the banquet, including Huang Yue. Huang Yue (1750-1841), Zuotan, Zuojun, was born in Dangtu, Anhui Province. In the fifty-fifth year of Qianlong’s reign (1790), Jinshi was awarded the title of Chief Executive of the Ministry of Household. Due to dissatisfaction with the Quan minister He Shen (who was in charge of the household department at that time), he asked for leave to return to his hometown and “took charge of the Southern and Northern Anhui academies for ten years”. In the fourth year of Jiaqing (1799), after the collapse of Ho-Shen, he returned to the DPRK to resume his duties. The officials were sent to the Minister of Household, the Minister of Rites and the Minister of Military Aircraft. He works poetry, calligraphy, painting and seal cutting. The painting is mainly landscape and good at flowers. With Dong Bangda, it was called “Dong Huang” at that time. It is also exquisite in appreciation. Most of the famous sites in the Qing Dynasty were identified by him. During his tenure as the right chamberlain of the Ministry of Household, he participated in the compilation of the three editions of the Shiqu Treasure Collection and the three editions of the Secret Palace Pearl Forest.
