Wu Tingyang’s seal script at the top of this picture “The image of the master of the double trees, the medicine root monk”. The lower right seal is “Luo Pin’s seal” and Zhu Baiwen’s seal. There are also inscriptions and seals of Yi Bingshou, Bao Shichen and Ruan Yuan
According to Bao Shichen’s inscription, “… Yaogen lives in the Shuangshu Nunnery in the Garden Lane of Yangzhou New Town. It holds a strict boundary and works poetry. The two peaks have clean roots and are the best with Yaogen. At one time, celebrities wrote this image all over the place…” Bao Shichen also mentioned the rough experience of the image being changed by the mountain monk after the death of Yaogen and then restored to its original appearance

Yaogen, dressed in a monk’s costume, sat on a big stone, with a slight beard, a hood, and his hands in wide sleeves close to his body. The figure is accurate, the image is ancient, the line is simple, and the pen and ink are skillful, which shows the appearance of Luo Pin’s Buddha painting
