This painting depicts vassal and foreign envoys visiting the Forbidden City to celebrate. From the perspective of bird’s-eye view, the author drew the two bronze lions in front of the Taihe Gate, and included the main buildings in the Forbidden City in the painting. The main buildings are small, large and far away, with clear priorities and rich layers. Under the snow, the whole scene is magnificent.
