Diao Zun’s epitaph, 74 cm high and 64 cm wide. Rubbings are mounted on a shaft, 75 cm vertically and 65 cm horizontally. The book has 28 lines and 32 words
The lower right corner is incomplete. There are two columns of the tablet yin, one of which is composed of 14 lines by brothers and 22 lines by sons. It was carved in January of the second year of Xiping in the Northern Wei Dynasty (517). The epitaph was unearthed in Nanpi County, Hebei Province during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. The lower corner was missing when it was first unearthed. In the 27th year of Qianlong’s reign (1762), Liu Kelun of the Bohai Sea made up a woodcut inscription on the missing corner, which was soon destroyed. Reproduce postscript. Later, it was collected by the Zhang family in Nanpi. The Zhishi is unknown

Ye Changchi, a close friend, commented on Diao Zun’s epitaph in his book “Yu Shi”: “Diao Hui was the first epitaph in the Northern Dynasty.”
This epitaph is a rubbings of the Qing Dynasty in the Forbidden City. At the lower right corner, there is a woodcut inscription in Yangwen such as Liu Kelun. The word “Yong” is not played, and the word “Wen Gong Hao Shan” is slightly damaged. The seal bears the seal of “Liansheng’s possession”
This epitaph has been recorded in Wang Chang’s Collection of Gold and Stone of the Qing Dynasty, Hong Yixuan’s Reading of Steles in Pingjin, and Lu Zengxiang’s Supplement to the Gold and Stone of the Eight Qiongshi.
