[White silk embroidered peacock lacquer handle round fan]
White silk embroidered peacock lacquer handle round fan, clear, 44 cm long, 16.5 cm in diameter. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The fan is round, with black paint frame, and white silk as the ground in the middle. The double-sided embroidery technique is used, with red, pink, orange, ochre, green, blue, purple, black and other colors, and a variety of inter-color silk threads are added. Under the pine tree and among the peony flowers, a peacock hangs its head and wings, and walks slowly on the slope. The object shape is more stylized, with bold and thick color, strong effect and visual impact. The stitches are rough and skilled, and the picture is full of vitality. The black lacquered handle of this fan is hollowed-out, and is engraved with curly leaves and pine needle patterns. It is quite exquisite.
