In the distance, the green peak is indistinct, the cloud is dense, elegant and quiet. At the beginning, there are four words of Emperor Qianlong’s imperial inscription: “seal the lake embankment”, and the seal of “Emperor Qianlong’s imperial pen” is printed in white. This page is signed with “minister Xu Yanggong”, stamped with “minister” Zhu Wenfang seal, and “minister” white Wenfang seal. There is also a poem written by Wang Youdun, the minister at that time, on the Jade Belt Bridge made by Emperor Qianlong, with the seal of “Chen Youdun” in white and “Gong Shu” in white. The scenery in the picture is not a true description of the Qingyi Garden during the Qianlong period, but is drawn according to the poetic meaning of the imperial jade belt bridge poem. The poem says: “When it is hung down, it is lying in the waves, with its sash, and the fish is like a rainbow. It is used to singing about the lake and mountain, and its majesty is as blue and purple as artificial. The light is shining in the original moon, and the potential is not obstructing the wind. It was originally left by the printer, but now it belongs to the Duke of Su.” The whole picture is loose and beautiful, transcendental, and the layout is dense, and the color is elegant and pleasant, It has a unique charm and a legacy of Yuan people. Although the painting was supposed to be a magnificent and elegant royal garden, Xu Yang used a simple style to show the almost idyllic scene, which is not only poetic, but also shows the elegant and unique aesthetic taste of literati painters.
