[The Sunshine Tower]
The Sunshine Tower, in the late Qing Dynasty, is made of silk, with colors, 56 cm vertically and 56 cm horizontally
It is also known as “Nagaodeng”, which is derived from the “Zhongyi Xuan Tu”, a palace drama in the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Gao Teng, the son of Gao Qiu, a powerful minister of the Song Dynasty, ran through the country with his power. On the Tomb Sweeping Day, he led his family to a peach party. When Xu Ningzi and Xu Shiying visited the tomb with their mother and sister, they forced Xu sister Peizhu to be taken away. Xu Shiying ran after him in a hurry. They met Hua Rongzi Spring Festival, Hu Yanshao, Hu Yanbao, and Qin Mingzi Qin Ren. The four of them entered the high house at night, rescued Xu sister from the Sunshine Tower, and killed Gao Teng. This play is famous for its martial arts.
