Most of the top of the rocks are left blank, and the handwriting in the empty place seems to be non-existent, showing the quiet artistic conception of the floating haze. The whole picture is full of ink, mellow and spicy, and the images are displayed in a rough way, which is full of charm. Wang said that this painting imitates the brushwork of Huang Gongwang, the painter of the Yuan Dynasty (the author’s so-called “great idiot”), and in fact incorporates the brushwork of Wang Meng, Ni Zan and others.
