[Jasper Bamboo Inkstone]
Jasper Bamboo Inkstone, clear, 9.9 cm long, 5.7 cm wide, and 1 cm thick
The inkstone is jade. It is rectangular and carved into bamboo knots. The front side is embossed with bamboo patterns, and a bamboo branch and leaf protrudes horizontally, dividing the inkstone into two parts. The upper inkstone is slightly concave, the lower ink receiving part is flat and smooth, and the lower end is carved with bamboo knots. The back is a split bamboo knot pattern. There is a rectangular wooden box inlaid with jade on the outside of the inkstone, and the jade inlaid is a carved dragon pattern
The design and carving of this utensil are quite exquisite. It is a very valuable stationery tool for the Qing court
