There is a self-title on the fan page: “Brother Qiu Fu, you are elegant and upright. Xinsi looked back in August. Ren Bonian wrote it on Chunshenpu for the first time.” The seal is “Ren Bonian”
“Xinsi” is the seventh year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1881). Ren Yi was 42 years old
The author is ingenious in the composition. The flower branches form a word “mouth”, and a bird is added to the branch. The bird not only breaks the original horizontal and vertical relationship of the picture, making it change from “mouth” to “middle”, but also adds the charm and poetic meaning of “spring is gone, flowers are still in, people come and birds are not surprised” to the picture.
