The gold satin in this library is made of seven satin weaves. The warp density is 116 pieces/cm, the warp projection width is 0.1mm, the weft density is 32 pieces/cm, and the weft projection width is 0.25-0.3mm, without twist. The grain weft is single round gold wire, with 24 round gold wires/cm, and the projection width is 0.15-0.2mm. The satin pattern is that the phoenix wears peony, and the flying phoenix is in two rows, eight in each row, staggered up and down, with one row of phoenix heads to the left and one row of phoenix heads to the right, flying relatively in the blooming peony flowers, forming a four-sided continuous pattern
This piece of gold satin is thick and crisp, and is suitable for making the trimming of clothes, hats, bedding and other items. Its composition is lively and its weaving is fine. Although it has been 200 years, it is still magnificent and dazzling. It is the best of the tribute of Jiangning Weaving Bureau during the Qianlong period.
