Jade Token, clear, 15.1 cm long, 6.2 cm wide and 2.3 cm thick. The old collection of the Qing Palace
The token is made of sapphire, which is in the shape of a round Gui. The front and back are both engraved with gold filled Taoist charms. The upper, lower, left and right sides are constellations, which are also engraved with gold filled. Token is one of the commonly used magic tools in Taoism, and the charm on it is difficult to recognize. This jade token is hidden in the Qin’an Hall, the largest Taoist building in the Qing Palace, and is for the royal family.
