This is the statue of the servant of the Blessed One, which is enshrined on the right side of the Blessed One in the east side of the Xuandome Palace of the Qing Dynasty. The statue, with a massive body and a golden armor, stands on the throne of Sumiti. He wears a treasure crown, his face is as red as blood, his eyes are open with anger, his left hand is holding a chisel, and his right hand is holding a hammer. He cherishes the loss of the hammer. In front of the upper edge of the seat is cast its name: “Marshal Lei Gou, the god of Shangqing”. It is said that this god was originally named Gou Zhang, and was later named the god of thunder by the Emperor of Heaven, and became one of the twenty-four emperors of the Taoist god of thunder, so it was also called “Marshal Gou”.
