Yin Zhen (Prince Yong, later Emperor Yongzheng) once asked the court painters to create many albums of Xingyue that showed his wild life. This picture page is the opening of one of them. The picture depicts the scene of Yin Zhen sitting beside the river in a Han suit, concentrating on playing the piano. Through his elegant and slow plucking of the strings, he can not only feel the beauty of the melodious sound of the piano and the rhythm of the rippling streams, the faint moonlight and the ancient pines and cypresses, but also seem to be able to hear the voice of “silence is better than sound at this time”. The same page as this picture also includes paintings showing the leisurely life of Yinzhen, such as washing feet with clear water, watching the clouds and mountains, watching flowers and birds, walking along the lake, sitting at leisure by the water, drinking alone by the bank, watching the lotus by the window, stopping by the boat to wait for the moon, ascending by the Cha, laurel in the garden, picking chrysanthemum east hedge, cape pine, writing scriptures in the study, watching books in the fireplace, fishing in the cold river, etc. Many of the contents and artistic conception of this atlas are completely consistent with the poems and articles in the Collection of Pleasant Hearts compiled by Yin Zhen. The whole atlas has the characteristics of neat and fine brushwork, beautiful and elegant color setting, and proper and deep and beautiful layout of the court paintings of the Qing Dynasty.
