The birthplace of the Qing Dynasty is the northeast of China, so the Great and Small Xing’an Mountains and Changbai Mountains are highly valued by the emperors of the Qing Dynasty. According to the historical records, on August 7, the 14th year of Qianlong’s reign (1749), Emperor Qianlong went to Duhudai and boarded the Xing’an Ridge the next day to record it with a long song. The picture is drawn by Zhang Ruocheng according to the poetic meaning of this poem. The camp on the top of the mountain, which is hooked and copied, cleverly points out the theme of the emperor’s visit to the Xing’an Mountains. However, the high mountains, dense forests, winding winding paths and scattered smoke are in good agreement with the praise of the majesty and majesty of the Xing’an Mountains in the poem
There is Ji Huang’s regular script Emperor Qianlong’s Song of Ascending the Xing’an Mountains
In the Qing Dynasty, this picture was hidden in the Summer Resort. In 1914, the Beiyang government set up the Antiquities Exhibition Hall, which was located in the outer court of the Forbidden City. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Imperial Family of the Sunqing Dynasty transported more than 200000 cultural relics, including this picture, to the Forbidden City in Shengjing (Shenyang) Palace Museum and Rehe (Chengde) Palace Museum. The paintings and calligraphy were sealed with the seal of the storeroom of the cultural relics, Baoyun Building, as the seal, to indicate the ownership. The “Baoyun Building Calligraphy and Painting Record” on the picture was printed by Zhu Wenfang. In 1947, the Museum of Antiquities was incorporated into the Palace Museum, and this picture was transferred to other warehouses in the museum for collection.
