[Five-colored Yunlong Pan]
Five-colored Yunlong Pan, Ming Chongzhen, height 5.3 cm, caliber 26.5 cm, foot diameter 16 cm
Slightly curl the mouth, arc the wall and circle the foot. The carcass is thick and multicolored, with a vertical dragon painted inside the blue and white double circle in the center of the plate, surrounded by red cloud patterns, green sea rocks decorated outside the double circle, and double dragons playing with beads painted on the outer wall. With white glaze on the bottom and blue and white double circles, it is written in regular script with eight characters, “Made by Meng Zhao in the Spring of 1898”. The year of Jiaxu was the seventh year of Chongzhen (1634)
Gao Sui, the third son of Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty, was appointed King of Zhao in the second year of Yongle (1404). “Made by the Zhao government” porcelain is used for firing by the Zhao government. This plate has typical characteristics of the late Ming Dynasty in terms of decoration style and color application. This plate is seriously polished, but it is a royal household utensil with a clear chronology. The same utensil is rare, and it is also collected in the Shanghai Museum
