The signature of this painting: “In autumn, Zhang Hong wrote.” The seal is “Zhang Hong” Zhu Wen, “Jundu” Zhu Wen, and there is a poem written by Shen Hao. Jimao was the 12th year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1639), and the author was 63 years old
The picture shows the flat slope of the village, several old trees, one person hitting fou, one person dancing, and many men, women, old and young people watching. The composition is sparse and clear, and the brushwork is simple and easy. The tree stone is only written in broad strokes, and the lines of the characters are fast and changeable, highlighting the different dynamics of sitting, standing, squatting, and walking. The strokes are simple, comprehensive, and complete. This picture vividly depicts the moments of rural people’s entertainment life.
