- Description:
Wrap head refers to a piece of inlay mounted on the back of a vertical shaft or a scroll. It not only protects cultural relics, but also increases the visual beauty of the scroll. The wrap head of the vertical shaft is mostly monochrome silk, while the wrap head of the hand roll is mostly brocade or tapestry silk, with extremely rich patterns. For example, the headband brocade of the “July Capital Second Posts” adopts the Kesi weaving method to vividly depict deer, flowers and other themes, with real expression techniques and delicate and elegant color matching. It is a rare masterpiece in the handroll headband, and even if viewed alone, it also has high artistic value.
